In search of sustainable economy

The remanufacturing industry means a reduction of thousands of tons of CO2 to the planet and enormous energy savings compared to manufacturing new components.

Now that we are aware of the environmental impact we generate and its problems, all changes in search of a more sustainable development are welcome. One of the measures that governments are starting to promote is the circular economy. This is an activity that the companies we are remanufacturing have been developing for some time.

The remanufacturing industry means a reduction of thousands of tons of CO2 to the planet and enormous energy savings compared to manufacturing new components.

What are the advantages of consuming a remanufactured product as opposed to a new one?

  • Decrease in waste generation.
  • Reduction of air pollution generated by the production of new materials.
  • Reduction of water contamination generated by the production of new materials.
  • Reduction of the use of fuel, water and materials in the generation of a new product.

When we design circular economy in industry, the data are eye-opening; remanufacturing a part consumes up to 85% less raw material and 80% less energy compared to making the same new part. In addition, we stop producing tons of steel, aluminum, and other metals.

Apart from promoting this type of industry, it is necessary to make the end customer aware of using this type of product whenever possible, a fact that is beginning to become obvious as a result of the planet’s environmental crisis.

At Turbo Motor we have always opted for this production model, understanding the limitations of the planet and choosing sustainable economic development.
